Workspace

Your Workspace is your content library — the central place where all the ideas you have taken, all the scripts you have generated, and all your folders live. This is where you manage and organise everything you are working on.

Where to find it: The Workspace is the default landing page when you log in. You can also click Workspace in the left navigation bar.

Understanding the Content Library

The Workspace displays all your content as cards in a masonry grid layout. Each card represents one piece of content — either an idea you have taken, a custom script you created, or a folder.

Card types

  • Idea cards — Content that came from the Ideation page. Shows the idea title, content type, and current status.
  • Custom script cards — Scripts you created without a starting idea, using the Create Custom flow.
  • Folder cards — Coloured folders that group related content together.

Card statuses

Every content card displays its current status so you can see at a glance where each piece is in your pipeline:

  • Draft — Idea taken but no script generated yet. Click to generate.
  • Selecting — Script generated; you need to pick between Variation A and B.
  • Editing — Script is being worked on.
  • Complete — Script is finalised and ready to film.

Finding Content

Search

Use the search bar in the Workspace toolbar to quickly find a specific script or folder by name. Search runs across all your content instantly.

Filtering

Click the filter button in the toolbar to filter your content by:

  • Content type — Reel, Listicle, Story, How-to, Tutorial, Carousel, Custom, Framework, Article
  • Status — Draft, Selecting, Editing, Complete

Sorting

Sort your library by Newest, Oldest, A–Z, or Z–A using the sort dropdown in the toolbar.

Folders

Folders help you organise your content into campaigns, content series, or any grouping that makes sense for how you work. Each folder gets its own colour so you can tell them apart at a glance.

Creating a folder

  1. Click "New Folder" in the toolbar

Or right-click anywhere on the Workspace background to bring up the context menu and select New Folder.

  2. Name your folder and pick a colour

Give the folder a descriptive name — for example "Q1 Campaign", "Product Launch", or "Weekly Reels".

  3. Click Create

The folder appears in your Workspace grid, ready to receive content.

Moving content into folders

There are two ways to move content into a folder:

  • Drag and drop — Click and drag any content card onto a folder card to move it in.
  • Right-click menu — Right-click any content card and choose "Move to Folder", then select the destination folder.

Inside a folder

Click any folder to open it. You will see all the content inside that folder, with the same search, filter, and sort tools available. Folders can also contain sub-folders if you need nested organisation.

Renaming and deleting folders

Right-click any folder card to rename it, change its colour, or delete it. Deleting a folder moves all content inside it back to your main Workspace — no content is lost.

Organisation tip: Create a folder per campaign or content series, then use the Calendar to schedule content directly from that folder. This keeps your pipeline visible from start to finish.

Bulk Actions

For managing multiple pieces of content at once, GRIDD supports multi-select and bulk actions.

  • Hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) and click cards to select multiple items
  • Once selected, you can move all selected items to a folder, or delete them all at once
  • Click the bulk delete button in the toolbar when items are selected

Scheduling From the Workspace

You can schedule any content card directly to your Calendar from the Workspace without opening it first. Right-click a content card and choose Schedule to assign it to a date, time, and team member.

Note: Scheduling a script from the Workspace adds it to your Calendar as a task, but it does not change its status. You will need to mark it as Complete once it has been filmed and published.

People & Avatars

The People section — accessible from the left navigation bar — is where GRIDD stores your audience avatar profiles. These profiles inform everything generated in your Workspace: the ideas you see, the scripts that are written, and the strategy advice your Creative Director gives. See the People & Avatars guide for full details.
